Do you get free Slurpees for 7/11 there? Free 7.11 oz Slurpees today, we stopped & got ours after church. I thought it was everywhere, but apparently not. My cousin in Florida mentioned it, but all his NY friends said it wasn't happening there. I have a friend who manages a couple of 7-11s & her birthday is 7/11, she always reminds us to get our free birthday Slurpees. She was out of town this weekend celebrating her 50th & I would have forgotten about it if my cousin hadn't reminded me.

We saw lots of folks dressed up from church when we stopped for Slurpees. I even saw a few people with cake as well! (Guru didn't get any for us - not enough room in his hands while we stayed in the air-conditioned car.)

Guru and I got large Slurpees, so we paid. Tim got a free one, his first ever! It was root beer and he seemed to love it, though he was his customary quiet self about it. LOL

We usually don't have any sort of diet option for Slurpees, so it's Pepsi for me if it's early enough in the day and berry or fruit punch flavours when I need caffeine-free.

TMI, I'm sure, but I don't do cola-type Slurpees anymore, after having one years ago at Burger King that turned my poop bright crayon green.
