of you ladies here are old enough to be experiencing symptoms of menopause or pre-menopause and how it's affecting your depression and how you handle it.
I've dealt with OCD

Itzee hun! Welcome to the board!
I swear in some ways I could have written this post myself!!
*hugs
I'm glad to know I'm not the only person experiencing this. Like you, I'm just trying to ride this out. I went to the GYN, who prescribed yet some other anti-emotion type drug, but that seemed to make things worse.
Do you ever feel like you've come "back" to yourself after this 3 or 4 day cycle? I can actually feel the change when it leaves. I can't always detect it coming on, but I can tell when it's gone.
It's so annoying because I'm on an even keel most of the time and then just lose it for a lousy 3 or 4 days. There should be a place we menopausal women can go to hide during this time (like a warm tropical island LOL).
I think the whole board would like to go there with you!

OMG yes hun! Once again you hit the nail on the head. at least in how I feel too! Sometimes I feel like Jekyll and Hyde and I wonder how my friends do it.. I 've gotten pretty good at sparing my family my "mood" but my co workers and friends always seem to get the worst of it. I always feel so guilty too when I do wake up that morning feeling like myself again.. Fortunately all my good friends are in the same ballpark age wise so they understand!
Im all for that Tropical island sweetie!!
