Right now, I feel like I'm a complete mess. I CANNOT handle my kids and my household, and I don't know who else to ask for help. My parents are already doing a lot for me,

Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't know if any of them are really going to work for me. The girls are relatively good about putting their own laundry away, and I only wash the clothes that actually get worn, so that isn't really a problem. I went through their clothes a few weeks ago and took out everything that they weren't going to wear- whether it was out of season, didn't fit, or they just didn't like it. Now they put their clothes together as outfits and that seems to be working well. I limit my son's clothes to what will fit in 2 drawers (one for clothes, one for pjs and undershirts) and I do laundry several times a week.

Maybe I could cut back on things like books and toys- ds has a habit of taking books off of shelves and dumping them on the floor, where they may sit for days and days when I'm feeling like this. I've got groceries in bags on my floor, cereal boxes on my table, dirty dishes in the sink. Half an hour of cleaning/organizing would do wonders for this house,
