Right! Big backward slide at weekend.Almost got hospilatised! Saw psychiatrist on Monday who has changed medication which I can't start for a week, got to have a gap inbetween tablet changes. He has recommended Cognitive Anylitic Therapy, made an appointment for next week. Anybody out there got any experiance of this type of treatment? Does it help? What can I gain from it? Are you a survivour of depression. I really am desperate it just seems to be going on forever. Husband still away from home but I hope for a reconcilliation and he wants to finish!!! People wonder why I,m depressed!!! Any support welcome.

I never have but I really want to use that kind of therapy. I think I would benifit greatly from being taught how to avoid it & Ive heard very good things about it.

Thankyou for your positive reply. At last some one who has been there, done it and got the T-Shirt!! I want to wear the T shirt too!!

I have been suffering, and boy do I mean suffering, from the dreadful depression for quite a long time but have only been diagnosed since November. Now its time to change the medication and I start therapy next week. How long were you in Therapy? How soon did it start working for you? I need to get my life back on track and this may well be my last chance!! Thanks for your support.
