First, my mom is in surgery right now have multiple cysts drained/removed from her liver and they are also taking out her gall bladder. If you can pray that the surgery goes well. They are going to try to do it laproscopy, but might have to open her all the way up.

I'm not sure if you'll remember it, but Hubby had his gallbladder out when we lived in the Maritimes. I pray for it to be done "the new way" since it's just a few small scars. (I have a couple of the same ones from an exploratory surgery when I was in college.) Hopefully she's only sore for a bit and bounces back well. Many hugs for you both!
My dad had an obstruction around Christmas last year, so I know a little bit about that recovery as well. Hope the neighbour's doctors determine why this is recurring so they can fix it once and for all!
And you can be sure the baby and mother will be on my mind. That's really early, but I'll be trusting in modern medicine and miracles combined!
