Ok---the interview seemed to go well. It was pouring AND windy and my hair was very straight and I was very wet by the time I got there------but ---oh well. The principal seems very nice----very laid back. The music room is not quite as large or nice like the one I have now-----but it's okay---and I saw definite ways to improve it. The band program is only two years old-----so I could stay ahead of the kids and of course---I'm fine with the vocal part. The best part of course is that it is 15 miles instead of 50! I will not know until the 26th of April and they do have more applicants. I am not certified which could put me out of the running if one of the other applicants is(cerified).
It's going to be a very long month---waiting til the 26th. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
I just got home from orchestra and need to grade some papers before I go to bed---so I'll stop now.
