finally a diagnosis

I saw a psychiatrist the other day (have waited a while to see him) and we spoke for a while about what I have been feeling, types of medication I am on etc. Well, he finally told me what was wrong. Dysthmia. I know it sounds so easy but this has taken me 12years to get to this point. He also said that the Wellbutrin and Lithium won't do me any good and that I need to go with the SSRI's. Been there done that but maybe a higher dose will help. Oh well, at least I know that it wasn't just "puberty" like I was told all those years. I also am glad to hear that this paranoia is normal (if you can call it that). I was starting to get worried for a bit because it has been pretty debilitating.
Well, I should stop rambling. I thought that I would just tell some people who would understand the relief and the fustration of it all.

It is always wonderful to find out for sure that there is a reason for the way you feel.
