If you already voted in the other thread,
you don't need to vote again unless you want to do so.

I realized I left out "sharing experience to help others".

You can add messages to this thread if you just can't choose one!

It helps to know that I am not alone, that other people feel the same way I do.

I don't come as often to the board since a little while ago. I had posted some information about Borderline Personality Disorder that I learned from a lecture given to the local association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I put down what I learned with contact info for the Borderline association, books, etc.

I put the post on this board, in the information section of this board, and on the Borderline board. I am not a Borderline, but this information was the most positive and hopeful that I've ever heard for people with Borderline. Most therapists openly say that there is no hope for people with Borderline Personality. All of my teachers in my masters program have said that we should try hard not to have Borderline clients because they will harass us, stay very sick, and never get better.

The new information I found came from some people who have studied Borderlines for years and have a systematic, structured way to help them.

All of the information I posted was deleted from Ivillage. Clearly, I somehow "violated" the rules. Since all of the information I posted was professional, informative, and from an extremely reputable source, I have been really upset about it. I have lost hope that posting things here does anyone any good. I feel like it's pointless for me to make an effort here.
