Deb,

I would have kicked him in the groin since he was standing there with his legs spread apart and arms folded if he refused to let me in my own home I would have just kicked him and then called the police stating that a man refused to let me into my home to where my children were and that he was blocking my way and after asking hm to move and him still refusing to move I had no choice but to kick him that I feared my own saftey and the safty of my children.

I think that you handled that great much better then I would have and you are not stupid or ignorant he is just a jerk who has nothing better to do with himself.

I think if you were going to put down oil on your drive you would have done the whole thing.

Well after the turkeys were stolen 2 years ago, we have a new flock including one mean protective African goose named Max (my baby)!!

Hi Deb. Im SO sorry to hear about this guy being a putts! Is there a certain time of day that the turkeys disappear? I strongly suggest that you put a video camera so that it faced toward the pen and the gate (but hide it very well). Hopefully if he does it again, you will catch him.

If you live in a place where it is legal to have Turkeys, then I dont think he can complain legally about them. Maybe the city could make you put them inside at night or something, but other than that they shouldnt make you get rid of them (in the case that he files a complaint). If you catch him letting them out, you can definitely use it as evidence. The problem is that he may use the "shove" back at you. However I dont think it would look too bad.

You can probably put a restraining order on the guy. Look into that option so that he cant come onto your property.

Do you know the people who had the oil leak in your car that day? If you do, then I would contact them just incase the guy says something so they can confirm that it was their car and not you.

Otherwise, I dont know what I would have done. I probably would have done about the same thing. I hope this guy will get a life. If he watches you all the time, then maybe you can also video tape him watching you guys so that its evidence of invasion of privacy?

I hope this taping advice is legal....I would possibly talk to a laywer about it or something. Good luck!
