How to act

Hello,

Ive been gone for a week or so...I was in NJ on business...The first day I was there went really bad...the school I was working in was totally NOT prepared for my boss or I to do the work we needed to do. I ended up getting really upset which made me depressed because for one I was wasting my time being there, and two my boss was creating more work for me by telling these people we could anything for them when we cant.

So I spent my Monday mad at the world and feeling really sorry for myself. Tuesday was a much better day. But I realized that because I was upset Monday I isolated myself from my new clients. Refusing to talk to them, barely smiling...I also realized I had done this to the newbies back in the office.

So I guess my question is -- Assume someone catches you in a bad mood, when you are not yourself and may be feeling low, but then soon after you cheer up and are happy and completly yourself, How do you act towards that person. Do you apologize for being moody and irritable and not welcoming? Or do you just show your happiness and try to positive and just move forward...

Thanks & its good to be back :)
