Hi Trac

Sorry to hear that you are feeling the need for the mask. Sorry that I am not around much anymore, my home computer is still acting up, and now that my co-worker is on mat leave I am super busy at work.

I just wanted to say that I can relate to what you wrote in the roll call post you did.

I am really scared to get out and date. Because then I would have to put myself out there, and that means I might get hurt. I don't know if I told you about Ryan? He was a friend of my brothers when we were growing up. I have been hanging out with him quite a bit since April. I ended up staying with him two times (nothing happened, I can't do that with someone I don't love or trust). But now I am all stressed about it. I called him two times last week, and he didn't call me. So now I am hurt and confused and wondering why he never returned my calls.

But I think if we don't put ourselves out there we are jipping ourselves. And some lucky guy!! lol

Take care sweetie.

Pamela

Trac

I live in a small town. There are three bars, and two lounges. But really only the one bar is any good.

I really lucked out when a girl that I went to school with since Kindergarten moved back in April. We have been going out alot.

But yeah, as for meeting people, it IS hard. I mean, most the time when you meet someone at a bar or something like that, it isn't someone of great quality. Not all the time, but you know.

As for my computer, I am still not sure. The guy who fixed told me I should probably re-install windows. But I am too chicke to do it!! I have lots of stuff on here that I don't want to lose.

Anyway, hope you are feeling much better very soon.

Take care sweetie.

Sweetie, you can reinstall windows without a problem, it won't lose any of the other saved info you have on there.

(((Trac))) What can I say? I know you are an amazing and wonderful woman. My best friend in college had nightmares like that. I am not quite sure what sent them away. They have all types of ways of directing your dreams. Google that and see what you can come up with.

The way I do it: I think of something that makes me feel warm and squishy. (like a bowl of cornflakes left on a sunny window sill). Usually I picture snuggling with my neice and nephew. A common occurence when I visit home. DVD player in my old room, and for right now the three of us fit on my old twin bed. *sigh* what a wonderufl thing that is.

Try that... perhaps with your own kids. Recall back when they were little. Because picturing my neice and nephew would do you no good. lol

Sending hugs and good thoughts your way.

Take care,

Lisa-)

Lisa,

I did a search on directed dreaming and that lead to a search on Lucid dreaming another term for the same thing.

Trac..I am thinking of a way to change your nightmares to dreams that are productive. Just give yourself a happy thought before going to sleep and leave it at that. I definitely think that you can risk a suggestion of a happy dream versus one of disaster.

Just my 2 cents.

Sending hugs and good thoughts your way.

Thanks, that is what I was sure you were suggesting but when I went looking about how to create those types of dreams, I found the other things.

Hey, don't go doubting my friend Trac! You did not take that job for really, really valid reasons. The gods are not angry.lol You did what was right based on logic and well thought out reasons. GOOD FOR YOU!!!

You can't go back and change that decision, and I don't think it was a wrong one. But I may be a little selfish on that front, if you move to Florida, I will never be able to drive to you and visit *wink*.

Can't go back. Only forward...and you are doing a damn good job with your life. So there *sticks out tongue*

I am off to make my drive.

Sending hugs and good thoughts your way.

Take care,

Lisa-)
