Just wondering if anyone knows if there would be a problem taking Trim Spa while you are on Celexa?

Thanks.

Dont know about that one it can interact witht he medication I do not know too much about celexa but I do know about trim spa I would call your doctor and speak with s/he about it and see what s/he says, I know that it can be very bad to mix a diet pill and an antidepressant I mixed my neurontin and diet pills and well it was not good I was agrivated irritable angry moody mean nasty person whe I was taking them and since I have stopped I have felt better...if you want to loose weight the best way to do it and the healthy way to do it is to diet and excersize eat the right foods veggies fruit protein stuff like that do alot of cardio but I highly recomend that you do not take a diet pill..they are bad news..I know for fact since I became addicted to them, and I was only well put it this way I was 93 pounds and thought I was fat...tht is how bad it was....but please talk with your doctor before you take anything or even the pharmacist at the store can tell you...just please be careful

I would not recommend Trimspa in any way shape or form. Those diet pills are not healthy nor are they safe. There is a simple but not quick way to make yourself healthy.

Increase exercise, slightly decrease food intake. Anything in an extreme manner can hurt your body.

It is amazes me that people acquire their extra weight over 20 years time, and expect to be able to be rid of it in a few months.

I am off my soapbox now. I am exercise physiologist so I do have a professional backround in this.

Sending hugs and good thoughts your way.

Take care,

Lisa-)

Thanks everyone for the good advice. I've just been getting discouraged in the diet department.

Have been trying to lose weight for the last 6 months for an event in a couple weeks and it is just not working. I think the combination of the celexa and turning 30 slowed down my metabolism or something and caused me to gain 20 lbs in a matter of a couple months. My weight has been about the same for a year now but I just can't lose any weight. I've tried runing a few months, working out at the gym, walking but it just remains pretty much the same. I've definitely cut down on the amount of food I eat as well. It is about in the 1500-2000 calories a day range. I can't starve myself - I need to eat :)

I'm definitely not a saint in the diet department but I was just looking for a little help to get into a dress I need to fit into in a few weeks.

I know that those diet pills don't really work - I guess I was hoping they would help a little.

Thanks,

Karen

I am not sure about the trimspa itself, but I do know that Celexa has an anti-anxiety component that really interacts badly with most diet type pills.

Thanks - that is some good advice :)

I just needed someone to talk some sense back into my head.

I have my friend a lecture on not using diet pills about 2 months ago - now here I am trying to do the same thing.

Oh well - I'll do some extra working out.

Thanks everyone :)
