Great poll.
But I wanted to vote on more than just one
Okay for me it is my mood stabilizers, working out going to a therapist coming to the message boards actually all of them help me out so much I cant pick just one but my therapist has saved me so she ranks in my vote..

Hard choice i picked excersizing, almost picked self help books, but really eating seems to help my worst really dark dreadful moods.
i just had one kind of slip over me ate something it lifted a little but is settling in again. Just don't know if i have *time* to indulge it ;}
Perhaps some of it circumstance or fatigue i've been pretty up for a couple months relation ship circumstances have improved. Health has been up and down- i started out good this morning maybe i just tired myself out.
It's a little hard to feel such wide range of highs and lows all in the same day...

Talkin to my mother has really helped me. On my bad days I call her and by the end of our conversation I feel like i can get through the rest of the day. But, after doing this for a year, I couldn't continue putting her through those phone calls any longer. One of the main reasons I finally got help. She kept telling me to get help, but I thought I was strong enough to do it on my own.
Reading has helped in the past, but recently found that I can't concentrate long enough to read even one page. Hoping to get back to it.
For now, it's my meds and this board. Thanks for reading all of my rambling.
Hey there!
I voted Therapist because that was the critical factor in my battle but it definately was not the only one.
Now that I am passed the worst of it, what works for me best is Exercise and Talking to Friends and Coming to the boards.
*hugs
Peggy
