I need some serious help. I am 3 months pregnant. I have recently felt like I can't stand my boyfriend of almost 4 years anymore. Some feelings are legit, others I'm concerned are the hormones talking... I have heard this is normal, but how do you cope with feeling like this and not making things unnecessarily worse?

Hi there and welcome!

First off your hormones will Definately be all over the place while you are pregnant. So most likely that is a good part of why you are feeling the way you do.

I agree that learning about what to expect can help. However, I'm not a fan of that book! I like The Pregnancy Book by Dr. William Sears; I find it more humane. You will probably be feeling less emotionally up and down in the next month or so (by 4 months) and things will settle down. I think most men are still so mystified by pregnancy that they'll take a lot from us at that time of our lives, lol!

I wish you a happy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Take care,

Nicola
