I come and post infrequently here. You all gave me great support some time back.

I've been doing very well until this past week. I just feel completely bewildered, nervous and upset about the upcoming election. It's causing me anxiety. I may need anxiety medicine tonight. I will not go into politics here. I don't care who you like or don't like. Depression gets everybody and I am wondering if anyone else is starting to feel the impact of it. If I am just more sensitive to it because I am prone to mood disorders and depression. It's weird.

I offered to volunteer. Maybe that will help. Take action kind of thing. I don't know. I get overwhelmed so easily -- emotionally I mean.

Anyone else feeling the heat of this? Just needing to check in. Thanks for listening.

I think for me it is all the negativity coming through in the advertising.

I just don't watch the news (or TV in general) much these days. If something REALLY IMPORTANT happens, I'm sure I'll hear about it. But I agree, when our two contenders pulled out their boxing gloves and all of the ads and speeches were about how terrible the other one was - well, I'm just sick of both of them right now! And I know it's not really just the two candidates, a lot of this comes from their teams, but the teams do work for them!

I get this way every 4 years, but I agree that this year in particular has been very stressful given everything that has happened in the past 3 years.
