Hi,

In addition to the wonderful responses and support you'll receive on this board, we do have a board specific to panic and anxiety:

Take care

I used to take Effexor and it did help with both depression and anxiety.

Hi,

I just came accross this board and just wanted to tell you a few things that might help. I don't know where you live but I live in Mo. We have crazy weather here, warm one day, cool next, warm again. I have always had terrible allergies and ear problems and was treated with antibiotics. I then got marrid and moved overseas to Japan. I was sick all the time with allergies, bad teeth, stomach aches, cystitis etc. Then my husband was stationed in California and I had no problems. No allergies, nothing. When we moved back to Mo my problems started all over again. I continued to get worse and I went to 4 allergists - no luck. Finally I found an environmental allergist. He tested me for thyroid problems and my tests came out normal but he had me to put a thermoneter under my arm the morning I woke up on the 2nd day of my period. It was very low. He put me on thyroid, started different type of allergy testing, and said I had candida. I forgot to mention yeast infections all the time. I started the shots, take thyroid medicine, nystatin for yeast, tons of vitamins and minerals and am so much better. No more yeast infections, allergies controlled by antihistamines, (benadryl is an antihistmine) and no more stomach aches or cystitis. Your problem may be allergies since you are worse now. Fall is the worst time for me because I am allergic to dust and molds. Molds can cause mood swings, panic attacks, feeling like you are going crazy etc. Please don't give up on yourself. A lot of times depression can be caused by physical problems and when someting stressful comes along it gets worse. Hope this helps.
