Hello, it's been awhile since I've been here but I have some issues again. Well, I don't know if this is part of being depressed but I thought I have been feeling really good until my mother in law made a comment that upset me. Don't take this the wrong way I love my mother in law we have a very good relationship. The past few years I had some major problems with depression and OCD and have since been put on Zoloft. But, since all this has started I know that being very forgetfull is part of depression, but how for do you let it go to where you have a problem? I mean I worry so much about what I might forget. There are things someone will tell me the other day and I have no memory of it. I'm afraid that I'll forget to pick up my child from school sometimes. Now after my mother in law made a comment about me forgetting something that I should really take a closer look at the problem, now I feel anxious scared to death. I just want my old under control person back. Do you think that not taking care of my diabetes and depression that it can all play a factor with my forgetfulness? This may sound really stupid to some but I'm really nervous about it. I feel that I'm the ONLY ONE with weird feelings. Please someone respond to this, I would really like to read different views on this.
Thanks,
Suzie

I definitely think that not taking care of your diabetes and the depression can lead to forgetting about things. I know that since my depression deepened a year or so ago that I forgot more things.
