What time of day should I take zoloft?

Hi, I hope this isn't a stupid question, but I was wondering if one time of day is better than another to take Zoloft (morning vs night). If it makes you sleepy, then I assume night is better. If it gives you energy, then morning. Does it make you jittery? If so, then what time is best for that? If anyone has any opinions, please share.

Thanks a lot!

Zoloft usually makes you sleepy, though it affects everyone differently. You kind of have to see how it affects you and adjust what time of day you take it accordingly. Early evening, like 6 pm, is probably the best time. Then it has time to digest. You might have the strongest fatigue anywhere from 5-14 hours after you take it. So try it and see what works best for you.

Good Luck,
