Sam-E after coming off zoloft

Hi everyone! I was on zoloft 50 mg for about a year and half for depression and anxiety problems. It helped me a lot but in the process I also gained 37 lbs during that time and due to that I decided to taper off of it. I just finished about 2 weeks ago and I am having a hard time adjusting. Although I tapered off slowly I am experiencing diziness and am very angry and emotional all the time. All of my old symptoms have come back full force. I am interested in trying the supplement Sam-e in hopes of finding something to help my depression but that won't make me gain weight. Has anyone tried this, and how did it work for you? Also I take nuvaring for birth control (basically the same as birth control pills), does sam-e interact with hormonal birth control? Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

Is it normal to feel dizzy and lightheaded after stopping medication? I did it slowly by tapering off so I didn't think this would happen!
