I’m a 15 year old girl that thinks she is depressed. My parents think that this s just a faze that I am going through but I have been feeling sad, and sometimes as if I have no real emotions for months. I don’t even know if I am truly depressed but I do have most of the symptoms. Its even starting to get in the way of my school work. Its as if I can’t function correctly because I feel so tired and have a hard time concentrating. I need help. Can anyone tell me what to do???

I think if I were in your shoes what I would do is go to your parents, and tell them that you are tired all the time, and that you don't feel right.

I think going to your parents is a good idea, just tell them how you are feeling be honest with them. Maybe then make a doctors appointment to make sure its nothing physical. If you don't feel comfortable talking to your parents maybe talk to your school counsellor or teacher, there also are help lines you can call (check your phonebook for numbers). Sending good thoughts your way. :o)
