What are your needs and how do you full fill them?
A counselor posed this question to me about a month ago. I was fortune enough to have four sessions with this counselor last month but unfortunately, I do not have the funds to continue. The last time that I was able to speak to her, she posed this question to me and I have been rolling it around in my mind for a month now without an answers. I have good food, well water to drink and shelter to house me. I have a loving husband and four wonderful but demanding children. So what are my needs? I have no interests right now and nothing interests me. So what needs do I have?
Maybe if you list your needs and how you full fill them, maybe I will find mine. Your in put is greatly appreciated.

Hi.
Good question! All of my basic needs are met (home, food, money, a job ) but what else? When it comes to other things like self-esteem, healthy relationships with family, friends and significant others (if another one walks into my life!), being a responsible adult (my apartment looks like a tornado hit it and I can't find anything, I have overdue bills because I'm so disorganized, I'm behind on reports for work, etc, etc) - I'm not very good at those - maybe because I feel like I don't deserve it (taking care of myself) - I don't know.

my needs...
definitely what you said- food water shelter-
clothes (i suppose just any warm ones will do but i swear i feel better if they are pretty)
love!!!! that's a big one for me
hugs
sunlight
money (i'd like to leave it off, but let's be honest, without it we wouldn't have the food shelter stuff)
Good Question hun!
The one big need I have always had in my life is the Need to be Needed.
