Mary,
I want to tell you that I'm sorry that your Christmas hasn't been so great. I stopped expecting Christmas to be anything special years ago. Before that, it was always bad. I should have given up my expectations before that. I used to end up in my room crying every Christmas because it wasn't happy and fun. My family was just mean on Christmas. You know how that goes.
Today was mellow. I spent the morning trying to find a Starbucks that was open to get my caffiene fix, or it would have been the worst Christmas ever! Otherwise, I had some pickles and opened a few gifts I didn't want (what is the deal with people giving windchimes? I hate windchimes.
But it's mellow. I love having the day off. I'm going to take a nap now.
So be good to yourself. And remember that life never goes the way we want it to.
Hugs and Merry Christmas!

I have a friend you could probably give the windchimes to -- she loves them.
