Putting a Positive Spin on New Years..

Hey all!
Lisa's Roll call post about New Years being depressing because of all the things she didnt accomplish made me realize we need to help her change her attitude *wink
The New Year has always been a time of hope for me and last year I made a resolution that for the very first time I stuck to.

I guess my main goal for 05 is to get better. I keep hearing there is a med or combo out there for me, I just haven't found it yet.
My second goal is to continue with school and continue doing well in it so I can get the degree I have wanted for so long. ~but, I have got to get the depression, or whatever it is, under control first so that's really the big goal.

Mary here.
My goal for new years is to get treatment for my ED and then after treatment to move to Arizona to be with my angel faced son Jakob Riley..
I dont think that is anything that is too out of reach...and I think that those are the two things I need the most right now.

What a great idea, Caly.
Mine is the same what Traci said, not exactly, but just get better.
Thats the positive spirit Traci!

I'm new here...will post an intro in a few minutes.
My goals for 2005:
1. Complete reading Optimal Thinking (the book I asked Santa to bring)
2. Start writing in a journal to help gather my thoughts - purchased it already
3. Learn to have more patience with my daughter when I'm stressed
4. Get back in the gym and lose the 30lbs I gained from my pregnancy almost 3 years ago!
5. Eat more veggies and fruits.
6. Move back to our hometown where our family lives (hubby and I can work on this in March when he has his degree - better luck at finding a job then)
7. Stop thinking the grass is greener on the other side.
8. Join the local running group again - need to talk to hubby about this because of the cost and family time it takes away. But gosh..I loved running outside and knowing I was with a group that supported me even when I'm slow.
9. Take a community class to learn more about a hobby (photography) or self improvment.
10. Stop the negative comments about my body.
So there it is. I will print it out now and post it in my office!
