MaryJane new member here. Anyone know how to get counseling and medical evaluation care without having health insurance? Is the quality of care just as good as having insurance?
Need to stay on medication.

This would be a question for the local Mental Health Association nearest you. You can find a list of affiliates at www.nmha.org . Depending on where you live, there may be services available to you. Good luck!

Mary Jane,

I suggest getting ahold of your local community mental health program. Also, look into university psychology program. Sometimes, there are graduate students that can do therapy at a reduced rate.

As for quality of care, Woody Allen has allegedly been in therapy for 40 plus years. He must be paying through the roof for his therapy but this didn't stop him from marrying his son's sister!

Good luck!
