Hi, everyone. I used to post here a long time ago, and now (surprise!) I am back. In a nutshell, I have struggled with depression and anxiety since I was about 15, but was only diagnosed about 2 yrs ago after having a breakdown. My relationships with my SD's are rocky at best, and I have had a really stressfull job, etc. Well, to make a long story short, in the last few months, my health ins. has dropped prescription coverage, I started a new job, and I have moved from a great huge place in the country to an apt. As any of you on meds know, they can be really expensive. So I haven't been taking them. I know that this is not really smart, but given a choice between eating and having my meds I will choose feeding my family every time. there is hope that I will soon have better ins., but right now I am so down. Everything is "growing" as I call it. That's what I call the feeling that all the molehills in life are becoming mountains. I feel so overwhelmed right now. The stress of a new job, I went from days to overnights even, the lack of sleep, the stress of having all these people around all the time and all the noise, etc. I know that things aren't as bad as they feel, but I just want to curl up and fade away. It is so bad I am unable to answer the phone due to the anxiety it causes. So happy valentines day to me, right? Anyway, thanks for listening.

((((((((Sara)))))) Welcome back. There are many problems with the expense of meds. Can your doctors give you samples that can hold you over until your coverage gets better? Or maybe they can give you some that would make it less money for you.

Perhaps your doctor can recommmend an over the counter anxiety thing for you.

Know that we are here for you. We will give you as many hugs as you need.

Sending hugs and good thoughts your way.
Take care,
Lisa-)

I wish I were there with you to help you. You are so brave and determined...the kind of person that I wish I were more like. You want to take care of your family before yourself. I know that things will get better for you. When you can't get over that mountain, then it's time to work at going through it. Sometimes doctors will give you lots of free samples of scripts if you explain the situation. You'll be in my prayers.

Sara,

It is good to vent and sort things out, I understand about moehills and mountains, not answering the phone (because everytime you do there is something else to take care of), I wish life was different, I wish out skin was thicker and our nerves more steelier(is that a word?)anyway, we are flesh, bone and spirit and we can only take so much. Rest when you can, take short cuts around things when you can and avoid stressful people when you can, throw yourself a life saver everyone in awhile, in other words be good to yourself.

I know it sounds too simple, but we have to try.
