Hi again, I thought I would give an update. I went to my psyc again today and came out with some great news, my medication is really starting to work and I am very happy with the results so far. The only thing I am still having issues with is my judgment and concentration. We started meds for that today. Now for the bad news, since I lost my job my insurance is going to run out within the next week or two. The medication for my ADHD is 287.00 a month---THAT'S ONE MEDICINE I TAKE. I didn't even ask what the other stuff would cost because I couldn't pick my stomach up off the floor. I can't believe it, just when things are starting to look up I get hit again. How am I gonna afford this????? What am I gonna do? I have some great meds that actually work and now I am going to have to find a street corner in order to pay for them. If anyone knows of any programs that can help me out PLEASE I am panicing!!

From a prior iVill post:
The high cost of medications is a bitter pill to swallow, but fortunately there are many ways to save money whether you have insurance or not. These strategies include retailers' discount drug programs, drug companies' assistance programs, free clinics and government aid programs.
We've put together many resources to help you find financial assistance for medications.
