I voted for anti-depressants, but that's only true for me when I'm on one that is working for me. I get migraines and Wellbutrin and Lexapro both triggered them for me. I switched to Celexa and was feeling great until a week ago when the pharmacy gave me Celexa that was made by a different manufacturer. Right now I feel the way I did 2 months ago when I wasn't taking anything at all.

So, when anti-depressants aren't an option, my family (husband mainly), friends (and wine), and doing something creative help me most. When I'm depressed I have a hard time actually getting myself to start doing something creative, but once I do start, it really helps improve my mind and gets me to think about more positive things.

I almost put in an option for "a combination of things" and I wish now I had.

For me, it is definitely a combination of several things.
