Last week, I posted a "challenge" of sorts. I would like you to post at least one daily accomplishment that you feel good about. It can be as small as sweeping the floor, going to lunch with a friend, whatever - just something that you've done that you see as a positive thing.
For me, it's important to have to actually say - today, I did this. Seeing it in print, makes it more real. Also knowing that I have to post something, gives me a little incentive to do something. Honestly, today I wouldn't have done anything but go to church, nap and grade papers. Since I needed an accomplishment to post, I picked something real easy - I cleaned my hall bath. It's only used when my grown daughters are home and they will be home soon for Thanksgiving so it needed doing. Since it's not used much, it wasn't very dirty and didn't take long to do it. But it is an accomplishment and it got my rear off this couch!!
Deb has been very good about posting a daily accomplishment but I would really like to see what some of the rest of you are up to. Who knows, you might inspire me to do something new and interesting.
Have a good week!

Great idea!!!!
I know you feel great getting some of those bank related things out of the way.
Boy you had a busy day!
It wasn't a job interview. I had to interview someone for a short column for a paper I am a consultant for.
Banking stuff is a huge anxiety trigger for many, yes. Many would not be in a financial mess if they regularly sorted their finances instead of guesstimating everything.
Should we start doing a daily accomplisment on the board???
Yes, I think we should do this on a regular basis.
44 years ago (we've been married 45 years) I took the record keeping away from DH. He never entered checks into the register, never balance the check book. It was a disaster!
This has a downside, though. he has NO idea how much he spends and when the market went south and tok a lot of our money with it, I finally forced him to sit with me and read the bills to me as I entered them. It was eye-opening to him! It slowed me down but woke him up.
Next step is to get him to help with the taxes... we use an accountant but we still have a big questionnaire to fill out since we have to file returns in CA and OH as well as with the feds...
