Aha insight moment

Good morning,  More snow in Ohio =  longer commute = less time on computer in AM.

I had this aha moment, I realized why the one person at work pushed my buttons so much yesterday,  what she sent me in emails,  I flipped back to childhood and heard my Dad say:

YOU ARE NO GOOD, NEVER WAS, NEVER WILL BE, YOU ARE WORTHLESS!

So instead of taking it with a grain of salt my fangs started to come out. I am also aware this person grew up also with an alcoholic father and even saw my same therapist many years ago.   So thankful God helped me see the light on this one.

have a great day one and all,  hugs,  Josie.

A hug can turn your day around.

The ultimate freedom we have as human beings is the power to select what we will allow our mind to dwell upon.

I am an unique, beautiful, unrepeatable, miracle of God.

I've had a few of those aha moments myself.

Good morning Deb and thanks for the support and understanding.

In another post you mentioned how at times when you needed extra time your therapist made time for you and even the help at the local hospital, as long as a mental health professional is willing to be there when you really need them to be, they are good in my definition.

My current therapist works part time, and they live on her husband's salary,

Thank you for sharing that aha experience, it was so meaningful to receive one that helps us to understand our experiences with people today.
Self understanding is so helpful and that is experience was from an inner intelligent source.
So few experience it because they miss that moment of truth.
