I am reading the book "Undoing Depression" by Richard O'Connor. Ph.D. He stated in the book, "Some stress pushed us over into our first real depression." Can anyone think of the stressor that was going on when you first became depressed?
For myself, it was back in 1997 after my mom died. A short time after that, I was diagnosed with depression.
What was your stressor? Very interesting book, I recommend it!

Hi Heidi:
I can't say for sure exactly when depression first hit me, but I know I was depressed as an adolescent.
Deb:
Thank you, Josie!
Deb: I wear my husband's cast away tshirts around the house.
