Good nickname for a IV

We have decided to name our child(if a boy)after my Husband. His name is Stephen Joseph III and goes by Steve &/or Stephen. We want a cute nickname for a IV, like Trip for a III or Quin for a V, but don't exactly like Quad - ha! We would rather not call him Steve or Stephen and also do not want to use Joseph or Joey, but want to carry on the family name. Any suggestions for a nickname for a IV???

The only thing I can think of so far is Jared or Ryan, both of which mean "descendant." I looked up four in the baby name finder and came up with Verge (one who owns four acres) - and I don't like that name.

It's an interesting question. I'll keep thinking about it. I love that you are thinking about carrying on a family name to a fourth generation!

Hi there, I have a William George III who is currently Will or William but I wish he was called George. Anyway, I am thinking about your quandry. Do you like the name Seth? That could be kind of a combination of Stephen and Joseph. Or Owen? To me that sounds like a combination.

My godmother's son (who is a Clifford Charles III) named his son (Clifford Charles IV) with the nickname "Drew" as in quad-DRU-ple. It's a stretch, but I kind of like it.
