Hard decision for boys name

My husband and I already agree that if this baby (our first) is a girl her name will be Emily Grace Grohman

But we are having the WORST time agreeing on a boys name. We like traditional names...but not so traditional. It's hard.

We (so far)like:

Alexander Christopher

Brandon Christopher

Can anyone be kind enough to throw some names out at me. Nothing too different.

Thanks Bunches!!

I love Alexander and Christopher, but they seem a bit too similar to pair together (both long and ending in -er).

Other wonderful, not uncommon names:

Nicholas Alexander

Nicholas Christopher

Christopher Nicholas

Patrick Alexander

Alexander Patrick

Christopher Patrick

Nathaniel Christopher

Christopher Nathaniel

Daniel Alexander

Alexander Daniel

Daniel Christopher

Christopher Daniel

Andrew Christopher

Christopher Andrew

Cameron Alexander

Alexander Cameron

Good luck to you!

Emily Grace is very pretty :)

I like Alexander Christopher, some other suggestions:

Ethan Christopher

Brendan Christopher (I just like it better than Brandon, I don't really know why :)

Joshua Christopher

Benjamin Christopher (a lot of syllables, but I love Benjamin, and he wouldn't be called by first and middle names together very often :)

Nathan Christopher

I like all of these combos...good luck with your decision!

I guess I didn't yet think of Brandon as traditional, but it's certainly past its trendy stage of the 70s/80s.

I like Christopher a lot, although I realize that the nn Chris can be boy or girl and so maybe that's why you only like that for a middle. It sounds good with Brandon, but Alexander and Christopher both end in er, so that's a little repetitive.

other boys traditional names that I like are Andrew, Anthony, Gregory (sort of like Brandin, not quite traditional, but has been around a while), Jeffrey, Joshua, Kevin, Matthew, Michael, Nicholas, Nathan or Nathaniel, Patrick, Zachary.

good luck.

Well, I was hoping not to get too traditional so we stuck Brandon in there. But I'm liking Brendan. Brandon does sound 90210ish and that's what turned me off on it. I'm just happy my husband got the Christopher Joseph Jr. out of his head. That's why Christopher is the middle name!!!

Brendan Christopher is nice.

I'm liking the name Jarred, but he may not like it and may go back to the Jr. idea! hahaha!

oh, I also really like Jared - (I like only one r in there though) - I didn't put that in because I was trying to give you traditional names.

I agree that Brandon seems more like an 80s trendy name.

Brendan is a nice alternative, so I think is Brennan.

I think Christopher is a great middle name for just about anything - except other C-starters and ER-enders.

good luck again.

I really like the name, Luke. I know it's becoming a little more popular lately, but it is a traditional -- actually Biblical! -- name for a boy.

Although, Luke Christopher runs together a bit, so if you are stuck on Christopher, maybe it's out.

I like Luke William, Luke Nicholas, Luke Edward, Luke Alexander...

I also really love the name Timothy.

Other ideas (some are maybe a little more modern than you were thinking):

Andrew

Brian

Eric

Ian

Jonathan

Justin

Kevin

Kyle

Matthew

Michael
