Am I the only one that pronounces all of these differently?

Kira/Keira - keer-ah

Kyra - ky-rah - ky rhymes with eye

I agree with all of those except I pronounce Kira, Keira, and Kyra all the same. Kyra Deane was the girl name we had picked out when we were pregnant with Nicholas. Keer-ah

I pronounced them all the same way you just spelled out.

I think they some people who spell it Kiara are saying it the way you and I see Kiera.

some people probably do see Kyra and say Keer-ah, but they shouldn't.

I would hope people aren't thinking that Kiara an Kiera are pronounced Keer-ah.

I feel that's a competely separate name.

I know some Kira's and a couple Kiara's - have never known a Kyra.

Actually, I pronounce Kira/Keira, Kyra, and Kiera all as KEAR-uh (first syllable rhymes with the word "ear").

I think those pronounciations are all acceptable, given that there is an actress, Kiera Knightley (from "Pirates of the Carribean" and "Bend It Like Beckham") with that pronounciation. Also, Kevin Bacon's wife, actress Kyra Sedgewick, pronounces her name KEAR-uh.

I would pronounce Kiara as Key-AHR-uh (AHR rhymes with the word "are").

Nope you're not the only one who says them differently.

Kira/Keira and Kiera I say Keer-ah

Kyra I say Ky rhymes with eye rah

Kiara I say Key-R-ah

These rules go by the wayside if I met someone in real life with the name and they say it differently then I had supposed.

I agree 100% with Lawyergirl AND I know a Kyra (Keer-ah, Kear-ah) personally who's in her late 20's.

To each her own though.
