Hi All, I'm new here and would like some opions. I am expecting in Feb. I really want to name a boy should we have one Teagan, my husband doesn't like it for a boy but says yes for a girl, Which I am now considering. Because I really like the name. Do you think is sounds more boy than girl, and what might be some cute mn to go with it for a girl.

I am proud to be Irish, But we are not set on it being of that decent, we are looking for 1st names for either sex that begin with a T. So when I came across Teagan I really liked it, but have only heard of boys with that name.

So, as far as middle names, do you want to stay with the Irish theme, whether girl or boy?

That's cute, My husband thinks I like wierd names, he likes Trevor and Tanner. As far as girls names we can't agree on any together, that start with a T. I really like Tannly, but he thinks that's weird too. as far as it being an Irish name, that isn't that important.

I love the name Teagan I prefer it on a girl. I would use a very feminine mn for it. Teagan Josephine, Teagan Annabel... I also agree w/ your dh on the Tanner name I think that is a cute name. Good Luck

My 7 year old has a friend named Teagan but she spells it Tegan and pronounces it Tay-gan (is Teagan pronounced Tee-gan?). Her mother told me that she came up with the name while reading a famous poem. I personally like the name for a girl. As for a middle name, I think Teagan Elizabeth has a nice ring to it. Best of luck to you!
