I am looking for a middle name for the girls name Maren...I have a 4 syllable last name. I was also considering the spelling Marin. Do you like Maren or Marin? And what sort of middle name sounds good. I was considering Claire but DH does not like that name. Thanks

Hello. I like the spelling Maren. And for a middle name I would recommend Maren Michelle. THank-you.

I think Maren (spelled like this) is very pretty. I like Maren Elise, Maren Grace, and Maren Faith.

I love the name Maren Brooke but it doesn't go well with our last name.

WHat a coincidence! I just decided Maren is in the top spot right now for us, too. She would be:

Maren Eliza,

Maren Kristina or

Maren Louise...all family names.

I also love Maren Elizabeth but we've already used that middle name.

I also love the spelling Maryn but that's not going over as well with DH. I pronounce it like it rhymes with Karen but I've heard it pronounced Mah-ren here in the Mid-west a couple of times. One of my friends who named her DD Maren says no one pronounces it that way unless they see it spelled before they hear it (obviously)

Good luck

Thank you all so much. What a great response. I think we are going to spell the first name Maren instead of Marin. For middle names I really liked Michelle, Simone, Claire (my personal fave but DH does not like it..thinks of large woman..MEN), have already used Elizabeth for my daughter Emma. I also have a daughter namesd Madelyn Jane so I can't use Jane either. Although that would have sounded cute! Do you think it would be too much to have a Madelyn "Maddie" and Maren?
