Hey All!!!

I have a friend who is due August 2. She has 2 (crazy) boys already, and she found out she was having another one. She thought for sure that it was a girl, but who knows for sure, really? Her two boys are Martin and Evan, and she's naming this one Dillon (sp?) My mom says they sound like "hick" names...wdyt? Martin, Evan, Dillon? I don't really care for the "un" sounds. I really don't mean to insult anyone if they take this offensively...really, I'm sorry. But I just wanted an opinion! Thanks@

Where I come from, Martin is pron. mar-TIN, not mar-TUN.

Evan is pron. like ev-in, not ev-un.

Dillon can be two different ways. Dil-lun or Dil-en. Most say dil-lun.

I don't think any of them sound hichish really. I like names that sound like they end in un. If we have a boy we might name him Holden, which some may say hold-un!
