Jorie,

What an astute observation. I remember noticing that some baskets in the Kids catalogue had the name "Riley" monogrammed on them, and thought about what a trendy name that was, but I didn't realize that there was so many names there! Thanks for pointing it out. That was a fun post!

Cool post. I do have a question about some of the names though.

Are they male or female or would you consider them unisex?

Cortland - Is this a boy or a girl?

Ellis - Boy or girl?

Kendall - Personally, I think boy when I see this name but I know there are a lot of Kendalls who are girls. So I guess it's unisex, right?

Ashby - Boy or girl? I'm guessing boy, but not sure.

Riley - It's unisex but I am starting to think more girl when I see this name.

Larkin - Boy or Girl?

Thanks,

Stephanie

Hmm, that's a good question. I guess you could always go by the style of furniture. LOL! The Kendall furniture collection is shown in the catalogs as being used by both boys and girls, so maybe the majority would consider it unisex???

Cortland-- to me it's masculine, but I'm sure the girls can easily steal it the way things are going. :P

Ellis-- masculine

Kendall-- unisex

Ashby-- country club elitest... lol! Seriously sounds like a ln more than anything

Riley-- as much as I hate it, Riley has gone to the girls.

Larkin-- I see it as feminine, but probably because of the Lark part. I actually kinda think this one is cute, which is a big suprise considering my style.
