We were thinking of using Marley as a middle name. First name would be Andrew. Some people have told me that Marley is feminine. Is it? I always thought it was more masculine. Thanks

Marley is now being almost exclusively used as a girls name. I've heard of five or six just in the last six months in my area - all girls.

The only Marley (first name) I know is my friend's daughter, who is 13. BUT Marley is a very masculine name to me, because of Bob Marley, the father of reggae - I'm a big fan. In my opinion, Marley is a terrific middle name for a boy, one that Andrew would appreciate in years to come. Best of luck to you!

I think Marley could work as either boy or girl, especially as it is not a common name on either side. I think Andrew Marley sounds nice.
