We couldn't agree on my third son's name either, and argued up until he was born. Right afterwards, I presented him with a list of ten names I could live with and thought he might like. I told him, "Pick one!" And he did. It wasn't my first choice, but it worked out. My son loves his name (Kevasi) and his peers think it's cool. Good luck!

Here's a few "old" type names as well as some that most people would call "different".
Old: Alastair, Aloysious, Byron, Cedric, Clement, Cyrus, Fabian, Hector, Phineas, Piers & Ulysses.
Different: Alaric, Beck, Coe, Dax, Daxton, Elias, Gareth, Lennox, Neville, Orelian, Rowan, Taleisin, Uriel, Xan & Xane.
None of these are particularly common, but none are "made up" either.
HTH, some!
