TTC #1 and already thinking ahead to names. Opinions on these girls names?
What images do they conjure up?
What images do they conjure up?
1) Reagan Elizabeth
2) Tabitha Leigh
3) Kinsey Leigh
4) Natalie Elizabeth
5) August Elizabeth
I really like names that are unusual, but not unheard of and easy to pronounce, no weird spellings etc. Any other suggestions based on this criteria ? Thanks for your help!

Tabitha is from Bewitched. I picture a cute little blond girl that will grow up to be "the leader of the pack" so to speak. Whether is a good "pack" or not, I'm not sure. It kind of sounds like a "snobby" name, but cute at the same time.
Month names like August, May, April and June don't appeal to me.
Not sure how I feel about Reagan... maybe because I grew up with a Reagan and she was kind of nerdy.
Natalie is a very pretty name. You don't hear it very often anymore. It's a very feminine name and portrays the image of girl who is nice to everyone.

My top 5 girl names are:
- Mackinley
- Calla
- Dahlia
- Adora
- Thora
here are some other names that I think you don't hear a lot, but are known names
Delaney, Sienna, Jocelyn, Aubrey, Desiree, Kyndle (I like that a little better than Kinsey), Larisa or Larissa, Mallory, Piper, Rhiannon, Sabrina, Whitney. I also really like Teegan and Taegan a little better than Reagan, which is getting popular by the way, both girls and boys.
good luck.
2) Tabitha Leigh - I love Tabitha! Sounds like a vivacious, creative little girl.
3) Kinsey Leigh - I just don't like Kinsey for a child. Reminds me of the Kinsey Report on human sexuality.
4) Natalie Elizabeth - Great name! Sounds like an assertive, attractive, successful young woman.
5) August Elizabeth - I've never heard August used for a girl. But why not? I like other month names better, though, like September or January. August has such a harsh sound, like a phlegmy cough.
Two other nice names I've heard lately are Luna and Tierney.
Best of luck to you!
2) Tabitha Leigh - the little girl on bewitched, but I think its a pretty name anyway
3) Kinsey Leigh - don't like it all, makes me think of a spoiled little girl
4) Natalie Elizabeth - pretty, but not at all unusual
5) August Elizabeth - ok, but most people use it as a boys name, and everyone will ask if she was born in August.
2) Tabitha Leigh-sweet, redhead who likes to read & plays the cello
3) Kinsey Leigh-blonde tomboy-athletic, swimmer or volleyball player & good student
4) Natalie Elizabeth-Dark hair, light eyes, actress or singer
5) August Elizabeth-(like Augusta better)-classic beauty brunette, class president

Tabitha Leigh: I, like the previous posters have a "Bewitched" association (not that it's really a BAD association), and I'm only 28. Also, I think a lot of younger kids know about it b/c of Nick at Night and TV Land which show re-runs of old sitcoms constantly!
Kinsey Leigh: I like Kinsey. I am usually not that fond of unisex, surname names for girls, but Kinsey sounds so spunky for a girl! And I believe there is a series of books by Sue Grafton where the heroine who solves crimes is named Kinsey.
Natalie Elizabeth: I like the name Natalie a lot, but I disagree with the previous poster who said that you don't hear Natalie very often lately. I hear Natalie being used A LOT among younger children and babies. But popularity doesn't bother me, and I would still use it if I liked it -- you just mentioned "unusual" as part of your criteria.
August Elizabeth: I like August. Garth Brooks has a daughter named August Anna. It seems cripser than Augusta, though that would be in vogue, too, since old-fashioned names are trendy now. But I would be a little concerned about nicknames such as Auggie or Gus taking hold.

2. Natalie Elizabeth - very nice
3. Reagan Elizabeth - okay
4. August Elizabeth - if this was Augusta Elizabeth, it would have been #2, not sure if I like August for a girl, but as I'm typing this it is growing on me!
5. Kinsey Leigh - nmsaa
