I posted here during my first two pregnancies (Liliana Alexa/Francesca Eve). I just found out I'm pregnant with twins and since we took 8 months to name Francesca, I'm worried our twins will be nameless for a while-- we don't know what they are yet, so I'd need g/g, b/g, and b/b combinations. DH is half Italian/half German and his relatives are still overseas... we had thought about using Italian names for girls and German for boys... we definitely don't want to give any potential boys Italian names.

TIA... I'd REALLY appreciate some suggestions. We have NO names on our list right now.

Thanks!!!

Danielle

My favorite boy name in the whole world is Dresden. I changed the spelling to Drezdin beccause I like it better. Anyway, I didn't know this until resently and I'm not even sure it is true, but I was told that Dresden is a city in Germany. So, if you like the name then that might work.

Let me tell you it will be tough. I had twin girls last August and they were nameless up until the last week or 2. I used this board as well and it was really helpful. We just changed our minds about a million times before finally deciding. I don't really know of any Italian or German names to offer, sorry. Maybe when you have a list made up I will be of more help.

Best of Luck,

Brooke, Maylee & Allison and Alyssa

I think Elise is a pretty name. I used to know an Italian girl that went to my high school with that name and I have always liked it.

Your daughter's names are beautiful. I think it would be nice to continue with the theme of their names. I love the name Isabella, and that flows nicely with Liliana and Francesca. For another girl maybe Antonia, since that is a female version the male name Antonio, as Francesca is the female version of Francesco. Kind of a neat tie-in. I also love the name Giovanna.

For boys - I don't really know any truly German names except for Dieter, and I like that. I did know a guy named Karsten in college, and his family was from Germany. Both of those are great names.

I personally like:

Isabella and Antonia

Karsten and Dieter

Isabella and Karsten

Hope that helps!

First things first the sun is still shining and if not it will shine again.

So, it seems you want German names for boys and some of them are quite nice.

Coen: brave or you could use Koen and it means the same.

Dale: Valley

Emery: ruler of work

Emerson: the son of Emery

Hardy:Courageous and strong.

Hugh:bright in mind and spirit

Luther:famous warrior

Macon:maker

Pepin:determined

Italian girls names:

Adrina:happiness

Angelina:little angel

Arabella:beautiful alter

Aria:melody

Cianna:God is gracious

Sienna:reddish brown

Viviana:full of life

Best of luck and remember the dawn is darkest before the light or something like that.
