In Need Of A Baby Name For A Boy
| Fri, 08-13-2004 - 6:23pm |
My husband and I are trying to figure out a good boy name. Our first son we named Curtis Johnathan. The next one is Due Dec 27th, 2004 and we are arguing over names. Is it still alright to name a son after his father or will that cause a complex? I always thought tht you named your first boen son after the father and not the second? Anyways this will be out last child and I need something unique. Curtis we call CJ. My husband is unaware of the sex of this child and does not want to know until birth so I need to figure out a name all on my own. We are both white and live in Wisconsin if that matters. Because of family and friends already taking some of the names we like we are at a loss. We cannot use Jacob, Josh, Austin, Zach, Noah, Chris, Mike, or Curtis. My husbands name is Tony Robert and I don't really care for that name, but I am open to opinions. You can respond here or e-mail me directly at tckeiner@hotmail.com I check that mail more frequently. Thanks for al of your help!!!!

I think it's fine to name a 2nd born after his dad.
Also, if you want your DH involved in the name without knowing the sex you can.
A. Ask him to give you a list of boys and girls name he likes to consider.
B. Give him a list of boys and girls names you like to discuss.
If you know it's a boy, then just say your having a harder time deciding on a boys name since you already used your favorites on your 1st born and/or are thinking of the Jr. issue.
If you need a list of combo girls name to give to DH, there are tons of them on this board that you could "borrow" :-)
I really think the dad should be involved in the naming process.
