Hi everyone!

I am desperate! I am due Dec 14, and I am so scared that I am not going to have a name for my baby by the time he is born!!! My husband and I can't agree on anything...I mean ANYTHING!!!

We just found out that we are having a boy, and we both are very excited, but I feel like I have come up with a billion names and he has shot down all of them. He says he just can't imagine our baby with any of the names that I have thrown out there...We both agree that we want something original, but cool @ the same time. We prefer something that starts with J, but at this point, we are completely open to anything!

Thank you for any suggestions!!!

He likes --- Granite and Maiko (like the shark)

I like --- Jayden and Zypher

I know that you have probably thought of these, but I'll give it a shot.

Jackson

Jared (Jarod, Jerrett)

Of course there is my favorite, Garrett. Or a friend named her son, Gareth.

I know what you mean about not being able to agree on a name. I feel your pain. We had no problems coming up with a boys name. But since we found out we are having a girl, he shoots down a name before I can even finish saying it. The only thing we agree on is the middle name... Sage (which can be used for a boy or girl).

good luck.

Hmmm...I'm really thinking on this one! I was convinced dd#2 wasn't going to have a name! I think the only reason dh finally agreed with me was because we were checking out of the hospital WITHOUT a name! LOL He couldn't stand that.

I love VERY unique names, so your names aren't too far off my taste.

Okay, here goes-

Dh likes Granite & Maiko- I would prefer Stone, Fletcher, or Flint to Granite. Maiko IS a fish. This one doesn't work for me. Is he a fisherman? There are other ways to name a baby after that. I've got a whole list of sea/boating/sailing/fishing name meanings.

You like Jayden & Zypher- Jayden is SO much more popular than the others you've listed. In the long run, I'm not sure you'll be happy with that. Zypher is okay; I prefer Zephyr or---

What about Milo? Zaden? Zaide? Zefan? Zarek?

Or Phoenix, Lief, Gage, Maddox, Hunt, Lawe, Levi, Finian, Sylvan, Dane, Trice, Falco, Brock, Sadler, Lor, Trace, Fabien, Nile, Thor, Gant, Lars, Corren, Dax/Daxton, Breck, Rafe, Ridge, Colter, Gannon, Ramsey, Theo, Lev, Worth, Torr, Bram?

J- names that might appeal to you both- Judd, Jorgen, Jude, Janson/Jantzen, Jarrett, Jax?

This is just a start. If you need more help, let us know! You'll get this one figured out...eventually. Do you have any ideas for mn? That would help me a lot in suggesting fn. Take care, Ginger

Thank you for your suggestions, Yeah, I really like these, but he is very picky. He likes the name jared, but he has a friend already named that...so that is just automatically out. For a girl, it would have been much easier for us, I have had the name Lyric picked out since I was like 12, and he surprizingly liked it. But we are so stoked about having a boy, I am hoping we will agree soon...

Thanks so much for your help!!!

Thank you so much...I love alot of these names, but he still says no...

He isn't a fisherman or anything like that, actually, I don't think that he has been fishing in the past 5 or 6 years...I am not quiet sure why he likes either of those, but alas...LOL

I LOVE the name Levi, but we know someone named that, so it is automatically out of the question...

For a girl, I love the name Lyric, and London. If it was a girl, her name would be Lyric London, but since we are not...:(...that is out as well...

I still feel lost...but I guess we are just going to have to see what happens...

He absolutley hates Jayden and Zypher, I like Zephyr too...But I think that we have Maiko out of the running...He still like Granite though...

Are you expecting? What did you end up naming dd#2? I am hoping that something similar isn't what happens with us, but I have this awful feeling that it will, but he wouldn't be the one to cave, it would have to be me...

Keep me posted, and if you have anymore to throw my way, I am completely open!!!!

Thank you again,
