Hi! Im new. Im having triplets!! in december. Im so glad I found this board because my husband and I are having a hard time with names. We decided to keep the name discussions between us and not with the family, only because when we had our first people were very opinionated and wanted their suggestion used etc etc etc.

Okay so we are having 2 girls and a boy.

My hubby's beloved mother passed last year, we would really like to honor her with the girls's names. her name was Maryanne. SO what we would like to do is give one daughter the middle name Mary and the other daughter the middle name Anne. Any first name suggestions, we are open to pretty much anything.

As for our son we both really like Austin and Dylan. So maybe girl names that go with Austin or Dylan. We have no middle names for the boy names so suggestions are welcome.

Our fist son is 3. his name is Caleb Andrew.

Thanks so much!

I know what your going through, so many suggestions from family and friends, just when I think I have a name down, I get a new suggestion and sometimes im like "ohh i like that" and I post it here for more feed back, lol. By the way Im having twins and Im trying hard like you to find names that go well together, etc.

Mary and Anne as mn's thats a cute idea and a wonderful way to honor your late MIL. Have you thought about Mary and Anne in a different form for first names instead? Such as Mariah or Meredith or Anneliese and so on. (tired cant think a lot off the top of my head)

I like Austin more than Dylan. I also like the name of your DS Caleb Andrew.

Im sorry i cant be more help, but if i think of something else ill post.

Best of Luck.

Wow...quite the dilemma...I understand to a certain degree, my husband and I can't agree on anything for 1 boy!!!

I love the name Dylan. I also love the name Caleb!!! (great choice)

For Dylan, I like Dylan Alexander...

I have always liked names that go hand in hand, I always said if I was having 3 girls, I would name one Lyric, one Harmony and the other Melody...

I understand about family, everone has their own opinions and if you don't like it the get kinda offended...

Trust me...My mom and Dad want Pierce, my lil' bro wants Jeremiah, his lil' bro wants James...

I would like to use his grandfathers name in some way, but I can't figure one out for Casimir...we don't like the actual name, but want something derived from it...or something...I don't know...

Well G.L. I hope that you guys are more successful than I...

Keep us posted!!!

Congratulations on expecting x3!

I love the middle names you've picked out for your girls! That is so cute and they are very pretty, traditional, will grow well into adulthood and definally the best way to honor the memory of your MIL!

Your boys names are nice, just NMS so much. I think I like Dylan a tad bit more than Austin. I like Caleb better than both but prefer Cale.

Anyway, I know some of what you are talking about WRT family/friends getting in the mix. After our first we didn't make our children's (possible) names well known either. It's easier to just wait till they are born and stuck with the name. Then everyone else will just 'deal' with it. LOL!

I think our naming styles are a little differant but here' goes... I'll try not to get too weird!

Rachel Anne

Tasha Anne

Carie Anne

Pepper Anne (just kidding!)

Kelly Anne

Nora Anne

Hannah Mary

Leah Mary

Teresa Mary

Loren Mary

Alyssa Mary

Others...

Ember, Piper, Cadence, Mia, Sonia, Niobe, Jolie, Lindsey

Boys names...

Berg, Carter, Donovan, Jarek, Jett, Jeremiah, Levi, Liam, Mason, Oakley, Randy, Serge, Trevor

Good luck!

~Andie, Mum to Zoe (5), Christopher (4) & Kally (3)

How about Dylan Mark, Rhiannon Mary, & Mariah Anne (if you don't like Mariah, how about Molly Anne)...

Hi and congrats on expecting the triplets.

First of all, I love family middle names and think it's great that you want to memorialize hubby's mother. But I do have a question- Doesn't other triplet need a special mn as well? And, is Caleb Andrew named for anyone? These things DO matter to siblings- trust me.

Okay, here goes combos for girls to go with Caleb Andrew & Dylan/Austin

Leah Mary, Amanda Mary, Ashlyn Mary, Hannah Mary, Gretchen Mary, Eliza Mary, Louisa Mary, Raina Mary, Breanna Mary, Jillian Mary, Vanessa Mary, Nadia Mary, Danielle Mary, Rebecca Mary, Ava Mary,

Charlotte Mary, Brynna Mary, Jenna Mary, Bridget Mary, Nicolette Mary, Natalia Mary

Bridget Anne, Laurel Anne, Ella Anne, Audrey Anne, Rachel Anne, Natalie Anne, Lindsey Anne, Daphne Anne, Meredith Anne, Sabrina Anne, Cassidy Anne, Halle Anne

Since it's in December you could do - Noelle Mary & Holly Anne & Dylan Nicolas/Austin Christopher.

Boy- Dylan Cole, Dylan Patrick, Dylan Brooks, Dylan Asher-happy/blessed, Dylan Richard-prestigious/prominent, Dylan Erik-leader/heroic, Dylan Zachary-in remembrance of God, Dylan Matthew-gift of God, Dylan James, Dylan Samuel, Dylan Oliver-kind & affectionate

Austin Christopher, Austin Jeffery-divinely peaceful, Austin Daniel, Austin David, Austin Cole, Austin Brandt, Austin Luke, Austin Matthew, Austin Joseph, Austin Royce, Austin Theodore-gift of God, Austin Henry

Hope this helps! Keep us posted! Ginger

Caleb Andrew isnt named for anyone, thats why I thought it would be okay to not name the boy after anyone. PLus there really aren any good family names for boys in our family.

I like the idea for Noelle Mary and Holly Anne.

THey are due around the 20th so its pretty close to xmas. Maybe I should consider Christopher or Nicholas for fist names instead of middle names? WDYT?
