my husband and i are pretty much agreed on Zoe June Marshall for a girl, but for a boy not sure... he likes Dexter David M, I like Angus David (the middle names are my mom and his dad)... what do you think? oh, also: if we do have a girl named Zoe, she has a 5 year old cousin named Chloe who we will not be living near...doable, you think, or no?

I don't see a problem with Zoe and Chole, if they were siblings I'd veto, but as cousins it's not a big deal. I really like Angus, much more than Dexter. Angus is a fantastic name that takes a lot of guts to pull it off. Another name I like along those lines is Seamus (Shay-mus). Good luck!

You asked so I'll tell....Angus makes me think beef. You know kids aren't nice nowadays and any name that can be made fun of will be. As for the rhyming, I'm in the same boat. Expecting in late Dec and name I picked a name that rhymes with my husbands closest cousins daughter (that lives 3 hrs away), I don't see an issue.

I wouldn't worry about Zoe and Chloe, especially if you live far away. My husband's cousin has 5 girls and three of them are named Chloe, Phoebe and Naomi which gets me confused all the time. I have a good friend and her husband has an identical twin brother. She and her SIL had baby boys within one week of each other named Brandon and Landon. I think that was a little too much especially considering that they live close to each other and the babies are genetically half-brothers. So do what you want because most people don't give it that much thought.
