We have had Caroline Paige picked out since I found out I was pregnant but lately i'm beginning to wonder if I should change it. When someone asks if we have a name I will tell them and they usually just say "oh, that's an old name" or "thats different". I've even got "what about ____". I should never have told anyone and just kept it a secret.

I think Caroline Paige is very, very lovely! Caroline will grow well with her and sounds very regal. Don't worry about what others think. The name is classically beautiful and you have absolutely nothing to worry about. :)

Caroline Paige is a wonderful name! I think you should definitely go with that and stop worrying about everyone else. You can't please everyone. My best friend named her baby Lorraine Nola, two old names, but she didn't care what anyone else said. Her baby is so sweet, and the name is perfect for her!

I absolutely love Caroline. I wouldn't worry about it sounding old, that's the style these days. I've actually met a few little Carolines lately, so it certainly doesn't seem like something unusual to me. The name is just so perfect for a child or an adult I can't see how you could do much better.

I think it is just lovely and never out of style. Stick with the name you love or you will probably regret it later on.

Love Caroline Paige. Classic, classic classic. Don't let enyone change your mind if you love it use. Once the baby is here nobody with any class will say they don't like the name. My MIL kept saying what about when she found out we were using Eleanor. This time she's not going to know until baby is here. I'm actually trying to think of some good names she'll hate to throw her off :P My bad!

I love it too! Don't let nay sayers get you down because Caroline Paige is classic and beautiful. Not only that, if something happened that your DD hated Caroline at some point she could use Paige, instead. Although I doubt that would ever happen but you never know because my friend Ellen, who is actually Jennifer Ellen, started using her MN around 6th grade because she was one of a DOZEN Jennifers and even though you don't think that will happen w/ Caroline you can't be sure! LOL

I think Caroline is awesome. I also like Carolyn. I didn't use to like Carolyn as much but it has grown on me, I used to think of middle aged ladies but now I picture the late, lovely Carolyn Bessett Kennedy.

Congrats on your coming DD!

I love it! And if you like nicknames, Caroline gives you the option of Carrie, Cara, or Carol, so you have a few to choose from.
