I am expecting my third child next year and am looking for suggestions for boy names that will coincide with my two sons: Jericho Scott & Canaan Bradley. Any ideas? I would love to hear your suggestions.

Thanks!

okay you need another biblical place name used as a first name...

From a biblical place name which possibly meant "grass" in Hebrew.

BETHANY f

Usage: English, Biblical

Means "house of figs" in Hebrew, from a biblical place name. In the New Testament Bethany was the town where Lazarus lived.

BEULAH f

Usage: Biblical, English

Pronounced: BYOO-la

Means "married" in Hebrew. The name is used in the Old Testament to refer to the land of Israel (Isaiah 62:4).

EDEN f

Usage: Biblical, English

Pronounced: EE-den

Means "place of pleasure" in Hebrew. In the Old Testament the Garden of Eden was the place where the first people, Adam and Eve, lived before they were expelled

HAVILAH f,m

Pronounced: HAV-i-la

Means "stretch of sand" in Hebrew. In the Old Testament this is both a place name and a masculine personal name..

ISRAEL m

Usage: Biblical, Jewish

Pronounced: IZ-ray-el

From the Hebrew name Yisra'el meaning "God contended". In the Old Testament Israel (who was formerly named Jacob; see Genesis 32:28) wrestled with an angel. The ancient and modern states of Israel took their names from him.

ITHAMAR m

Usage: Biblical, Jewish

Means "palm island" in Hebrew. This is the name of a son of Aaron in the Old Testament.

IVAH f

Usage: Biblical

From the name of a district of Babylon, mentioned in the Old Testament

JORDAN m,f

Usage: English, German, Biblical

Pronounced: JOR-dan

From the name of a river flowing between the countries of Jordan and Israel. The river's name in Hebrew is Yarden, and it is derived from yarad meaning "descend" or "flow down". John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ in its waters, and it was adopted as a personal name after crusaders brought back water from the river to baptize their children.

JUDAH m

Usage: Biblical, English

Pronounced: JOO-da

From the Hebrew name Yehudah which meant "praised". Judah was one of the twelve sons of Jacob and the ancestor of the tribe of Judah in the Old Testament. This tribe led the Exodus from Egypt and eventually formed the kingdom of Judah in the south of Israel. King David and Jesus were descendents of Judah.

LYDIA f

Usage: English, German, Biblical

Pronounced: LID-ee-a

Means "of Lydia" in Greek. Lydia was a region on the west coast of Asia Minor. In the New Testament this is the name of a woman converted by Saint Paul.

MAGDALENE f

Usage: German, English, Biblical

Pronounced: MAG-da-len, MAG-da-leen

From a title which meant "of Magdala". Mary Magdalene, a character in the New Testament, was named thus because she was from Magdala - a village on the sea of Galilee whose name meant "tower" in Hebrew. She was cleaned of evil spirits by Jesus and then remained with him during his ministry, witnessing the crucifixion and the resurrection.

MORIAH f

Usage: Biblical, English

Pronounced: mo-RIE-a

Possibly means "seen by YAHWEH" in Hebrew. This is a place name in the Old Testament, both the land where Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac and the mountain upon which Solomon built the temple. They may be the same place. It is sometimes used as a feminine given name.

PHILADELPHIA f
