I am due with another little one right after Christmas and need to come up with name solutions . . . We are waiting to see if Mikayla True and Jillian Kathryn have a baby brother or sister.
We like "Brayden" for a little boy, but we aren't too sure about the spelling - Braiden, or Braeden are also choices. Middle names (we are looking for family names that sound right) are still up in the air, but have a list to choose from - Eric (Daddy), David, Robert, Charles, or Joseph (G-fathers).
Our girl name is between Riley and Brooklynne, and I wish to use "Julie" as a middle name for my cousin who died suddenly after childbirth. What are your thoughts of using Julianna to flow more with Riley - as far as I understand "Anna" means gracious, which describes my cousin perfectly.
Any help would be appreciated!

I would rank your mn choices as follows (I LOVE the idea of honoring family with a mn, it makes it so special):
1. Braeden Charles (I like the two-syllable, one-syllable flow)
2. Braeden Joseph (I like the very classic mn with the more modern fn)
3. Braeden Eric
4. Braeden Robert
5. Braeden David (too much "ay" sound for me)
For a girl, I prefer Riley over Brooklynne, but if you like Brooklyn, I would spell it like that. I think Riley Julianna sounds wonderful -- and I like the very feminine name paired with the unisex first name. It's a nice balance. I also like Riley Julianne.
By the way, I love the name Jillian Kathryn!
Brooklynne is NMSAA, even with the more traditional Brooklyn spelling. Brooklynne is very over the top, IMO. I do like Riley though and think it is good you are looking at altering Julie to go with it. Riley Julianna or Riley Julianne both sound lovely. Since Riley is pretty unisex I'm glad that you are pairing it with a more feminine mn.
Riley Julianna is lovely, lovely remembrance, and tribute to the life of your gracious cousin. Brooklynn Julie is lovely also.
i like Riley best with her older sisters names. Brayden/Braiden/Braden flows together nicely too.
HTH,
