We have added Ember Elysium and Ember Celestine (kel-es-steen) and Ember Leor to our list, what do you think of these names? Which flows best?

Would Ember be a girl's name? I picture ashes in the fireplace. Tough name to live with, I think. The middle names are quite unusual, but I tend to put little focus on them, as they are used so little in every day life. Working on a nice first name - last name combo is much more important, imo.

I would stay away for Elysium since:

1: If you ever have played Vampire the Masquerade , you would now the word Elysium.

2: Goths uses the word Elysium for clubs to clothesline, it is one of the in words right now.

It looks like Amber Asylum, that was my immediate thought. Sorry, but yuck.

I agree that Elysium seems like a goth name to me. The only time I've seen Elysium used as a name is for goth nightclubs. It has a nice sound to it, but that comes with a lot of baggage that doesn't seem very baby-like.

I knew one person named Ember. She's an adult now. She was always correcting people, as they thought her name was Amber.

Is this an Elfquest tribute? I like the character Ember - but not sure about using it on a human baby... ;)
