Hi Ladies,
DH and I are at a loss and all over the board with names. We cannot agree. Please be honest. Which names do you like on my list and any suggestions are welcome.
Thank you so much!! I like different but classic names at the same time.
I feel like we will never find the perfect name!!

Girls: Emerson, Hope, Grace or Gracie, Mischa
Boys: Ronin, Michael (DH's name), Ethan, Brady

For girls I like Grace (nickname Gracie) and Hope. If popularity matters to you (i.e. you don't want your child to be one of many with the same name) I think you should go with Hope.

For a boy I like Ronin and Ethan best...maybe Ronin/Ethan Michael if you want to honor your hubby. Ronin makes me think of the movie...apparently ronin are rogue samurai warriors. I like it better spelled Ronan.

I like Grace or Mischa for a girl. Emerson is a boy's name. Hope is just too sappy.

For boys, I especially like Ethan. I don't like Brady. It's not refined enough a name. My cat's name is Brady, but it suits him just fine!

I like Grace the best of your girl names. Emerson is ok (nn Emme) Emerson Grace could work. Hope is ok (hee hee)

I don't like Ronin, although I like Roman. Ethan is ok. Brady is ok. And, I forgot your fourth boy name.

Good luck!
Hope

Hi! My name isn't very common. As a matter of fact I've never ran into anyone with my name. It is Mary Aiden. It is my first and middle name and my friends and family call by the whole name "Mary Aiden". I am sure you've heard of Aiden but no one has put the two together but my parents. I hope this helps! But Aiden is a boy/girl name. The little boy from the "RING" has the name Aden. When I was a little girl I would always get upset because my friends at school had pens with their names on them and I got upset because I couldn't ever find ANYTHING with my name on it.

For girls I like Hope & Grace off your lists. Hope would be my choice, as it's less popular than Grace. I don't mind Mischa, maybe Mischa as a nickname for Michelle? Michelle Grace, Michelle Hope, either one nn Mischa?

For boys, the combo I'd use is Ronin Michael. Ethan's gotten too popular for my liking, Brady is too surnamey (and makes me think of James Brady). I usually prefer to place the more offbeat name in the middle, but Ronin Michael sounds far better than Michael Ronin to me.

Girls:

Emerson -- Not my style. Too trendy sounding... a last name turned into a boys name turned into a girls name.

Hope -- I like it.

Grace --I like it, but it is very popular right now.

Mischa -- This strikes me as a nickname, not a name. Maybe call her Michelle, Mischa for short?

Boys:

Ronin -- Not my favorite. Sounds like "Conan the Barbarian".

Michael -- I like this kind of traditional name. However, if DH doesn't want a "junior" you can use it as the middle name.

Ethan -- I like this name.

Brady -- Just OK.
